My dear friends, I have been so grateful to have this website where I am free to share my geekish love for Ponies, and the joy of fandom that unites us. One of the things I have found so inspirational is the amount of generosity and kindness I have seen throughout the Brony community. People are willing to share, eager to help each other, and happy to share their art and their passions with the world.
I, like may Pony fans, am also a huge fan of Doctor Who. To that end, I sat down last week with the intent to paint my first every Doctor Who custom Pony. I found a darling (non-hasbro) pony with beautiful blue hair, and started planning her out.
Then in my own backyard, tragedy struck. I don’t mention my physical location here often, but I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Just one week ago we were told a fire had started in the forest near us. In the space of two days, I watched as from my own backyard I could see the mountains lit up with flames. Up until Tuesday, it was an eerie sight, but nothing that made us worry, because it was too far, it was in the woods.
