I keep the best in MY collection, so the secret for my blog readers is this. If I tag an auction with the words "from MY collection" you KNOW it's display worthy. Why do I sell them? Shelf space. If I come across a more rare pony that I want to keep... It needs to have a place, and that usually results in my thinning my collection. Simple. I'm not selling anything that's defective.
I'm very very anal about quality. Nothing aggravates me more than ponies that cannot be redeemed, because then I dont' sell them. If they aren't good enough, that's it. They go into bait and I face the losses.
Though I am considering having a 'bait sale' coming up. Some previously owned ponies suffered at the hands of an artistic child... They actually look rather GOOD, but the marker is DEFINITELY not something that improves their sale cost. I may just toss them up later as end of the month .99 cent listings, and let YOU decide if they're worth buying. As is.
That's all for now, I'm expanding my auctions, trying to sell 50 ponies a month. So move fast if you want it, they go by quick!
