I've been horrible at updating the site and the blog. I'm terrible. In my defense, this pregnancy is kicking my butt. Besides all the fun medical stuff, I have the attention span of a fly right now. The good news is that the eBay store is still running, less frequently, but I'm gladly selling through my stock of blind bag ponies, so keep checking to see if there's anything that might be right for you!

The further good news is, TA DA! I made a handy chart of all the lovely Crystal blind bag ponies. Also visible here: Wave 7 Blind Bags in my Gallery, the new chart has the five digit code needed to easily identify an unopened foil bag, so you can be sure to pick up your favorites, or easily fill the gaps in your collection. I know I'm not the FIRST person to post these codes, but I like having a handy graphic so I don't have to memorize all the pony names. :) It's way easier to go, "That pink pony with yellow hair is #24" than have to figure out WHICH pony is Lily Valley. 

In more news, the NEXT wave of Blind Bags should be hitting stores ANY DAY now, and it's the NEXT wave of 'crystal' ponies. Some call the new ones 'neon' ponies. The box is set to feature some awesome new molds including Granny Smith (translucent) WITH her walker, and BOTH of the Flim Flam Brothers with their very own unique molds. 
I'm debating myself on whether to spend 80$ at the toy scalper, or just try to find them first at my local store, but when I get them, you can BET I'll post pictures. Until then, happy pony hunting!

while the Yellow bags have been available on eBay overseas and through some Toy retailers for a few months, we've yet to see them in USA stores. I'm hoping to see this change in the next few months. Select retailers had a FEW in over Christmas, and that's likely to be just the tip of a coming influx. So, to get ready to find them all in stores, I've set up a handy ID graphic to help you spot the ponies you want in stores! 

It's also worth noting that the Princess blind bag figures (the Alicorn pose) is much larger than the others, and they HAVE packaged them with an extra plastic wedge to keep those extra long wings from bending. If all you want is to take home a princess, look for that extra bit of weight and that crunchy crackle inside the bag to know you've picked a winner. :)

Granted, I've been behind on updates considering it is now February. I try to post semi-frequent content to my Facebook fan page, but I don't intend this page to be ignored in favor of FB either. 

January was a fairly slow month product wise. In some Walmart's we're starting to see new versions of the 4" Brushable Ponies with glitter hair and new accessories. Also I saw one isolated set of Yellow blind Bags (wave 5) and Blue-Purple (wave 6) show up in my local Walmart, only to disappear just as quickly. 

The NEW news, as of today, 1-31-13 is that the TRANSLUCENT Ice Blue Blind Bag Ponies (Wave 7) have started popping u in Walmart in BULK. So I'm hoping this means that we'll be seeing a flood of new ponies hitting the shelves across the USA. I have managed to get a set for myself, and an incomplete set for sale. :) I look forward to getting pictures and listings up soon. These are TRULY lovely little ponies, and it's a neat adaptation for the main 6. 

On a more personal note, I've been bad about getting new products up and listing new updates, because I've had to take a few more sick days. My husband and I are expecting a new baby! That said, pregnancy is exhausting, and I hope to find a new pace that keeps everything going here without running myself ragged. :) Also, I will be taking a my leave at the end of August, until everything else gets settled. 

So that's what's going on! I can't wait until we more ponies to show!

Do you like my picture? Feel free to save it, share it around. I adore Pinkie Pie, but the pose of her legs combined with the weight of her plastic hair are... not a wise combination. I finally resorted to getting some modeling clay to stick her foot to my desk. Silly putty also works, but wants to stretch after a while. 
New 4" Glitter Haired Ponies have appeared in stores. I'm thinking maybe they weren't supposed to be out yet, but I managed to nab Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy, each with glitter strands in their mane, new accessories and a DVD. I may start selling more brushables on my site. It's a hit or miss market, since they're so accessible, it's harder for me to sell them online and make a profit.
And finally, I'll be tweaking this site. The new logo has gone up, as will a new color scheme soon. I'm also thinking of building a searchable blind bag index so you can, for example, see every variation of Trixie or Lyra on one page. It'd be a fair amount of work, so it may not be ready right away, but it is something I've been planning.

Have I inundated you with enough new Ponies this month? What? I haven't?! GOOD! 

I have just received my first box of the Blue-Purple Bags (Wave 6). They may start showing up in stores toward the new year, but for now you can have a sneak peak at both the ponies AND the Blind Bag numbers you'll need to cherry pick the store boxes. 

This release is essentially a re-release of the ponies we saw in the Glitter Release, but as painted ponies. So if the Glitter Colts weren't masculine enough, you can now buy their normal paint versions. The one completely new pony (shown above) is Magnet Bolt, a fetching blue and red unicorn. 
The special Ponies in this lot are gem ponies. Our two favorite duelists Twilight Sparkle and Trixie (now with Twilight's haircut) have special 3D gem cutiemarks. Twilight Velvet (seen as Twilight Sparkles mother in a few episodes) is also honored with a special gem.
To be honest, this release wasn't as creative as some. Royal Riff with his gray on Blue coloring and treble clef cutie mark is very similar to noteworthy with his blue on blue and music note coloring. Perhaps they're in a band? I assume the toy dept feels blue is necessary to drive home the colts masculinity.
The gems also prove to be a little lackluster, more like jelly blobs (I guess they didn't want to have to glue rhinestones on by hand). Though as anal as I am, these are mass produced 2$ toys. 
My personal opinions stated, they're still adorable. I love the color combinations on both Crimson Gala and Peachie Sweet, and Merry May is a neat departure from the norm with her lime green/dark purple combination.

It is officially Christmas Shopping Time! I actually enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect thing for the people on my list, though the wrapping decorating and traveling can be exhausting! Hi guys! So between listing Yellow bags and finding new ponys to sell, I'm thinking of giving this site a face lift. I mentioned it on the Facebook Fansite, but I wanted to get opinions from y'all, my lovely readers who actually USE the site if there's anything you'd like to see.

So first off I'm thinking of redoing the logo with the FiM (g4) Ponies. Pinkie Pie is a most likely candidate along with Fluttershy, and maybe some of the more unique background ponies. I still love my logo, but I don't want the Bronies to stop here and think I only cater to the 'old school'. 

My big question I'd love to get feedback on is colors. Do you like the pink? Do you fear the pink? I do all my graphics for my site by hand, so what I do will stay within the scope of my abilities (I don't know how to hand-draw ponies for example.) 

So what would you like to see in the next generation site? Pink? Sky blue maybe? Silver? 20% Cooler? I'm planning away, so please weigh in!

So the awesome guys at Equestria daily hosted a contest for the largest pony collection. I decided that was a good enough reason to finally photograph my personal collection.
I've made a page for it, and while I have no idea if my collection will win, I'm excited to get to show you all of my favorite ponies.
Note: I've been in love with ponies since the 80's it's why I originally started selling G3's then when the show came out I loved it, and it gave me even more things to add to my collection. I actually have a bit of space to devote to my madness. So I'm a VERY obsessed individual. :-)

Wow. It's already mid September? Am I the only one who finds fall to be a super busy time of year? It's been almost a month since I've posted here, and just when I though Pony-mania was starting to slow, there's rumors of new Blind Bags going to come out as early as November! (I imagine it's the Christmas Rush.) Wow. Hasbro has started moving quick. Before hey teased us with only one case type in three to six months, now they're just throwing them all at the market. BUY ALL THE PONIES!

More seriously, I know there was a discrepancy between MY glitter pony ID chart, and the pony boxes now in stores. Hasbro changed both the numbers and the name cards for the USA release. But I am not to be out done!
